6) Eat at least one serving of fresh (not frozen) veggies per week

  1. Believe it or not, esp in winter, frozen veggies are better for you. I swear - they flash-freeze them in the field, so there's no vitamin or mineral loss. Fresh veggies have to travel and lose vitamin and mineral potency from the moment they're cut. Unfortunate and counter-intuitive, but true.
